Since 1965, has been appointed Conciliator or Mediator in many domestic and international disputes. These appointments were made either by the Parties under Ad hoc Rules or by the International Court of Arbitration of the ICC, Paris, under the ICC Rules of Conciliation; or by the Institution of Civil Engineers, London; or under the Rules of the Institution of Engineers of Ireland. Also, has been appointed as a Dispute Adjudication member or Board or Dispute Expert Adviser on a number of domestic and international projects. Between 1972 and 2000, Dr. Bunni was also appointed as Expert Witness or adviser in both domestic and international disputes.

Dr. Bunni has lectured extensively and has been invited to speak in many countries in Europe; Asia; The Middle East; Africa; North and South America; and New Zealand, at functions and/or seminars on various topics relating to technical matters and to construction contracts. These seminars were organised by or for FIDIC; the World Bank; the Munich Reinsurance Company; the Institution of Engineers of Ireland; the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators; the Institution of Civil Engineers, London; and other organisations.

Member: of the Permanent Joint Committee for review of the Irish Conditions of Contract for Works of Civil Engineering Construction; of the Commission on International Arbitration of the ICC, Paris and a member of a number of its Standing Committees: ADR Forum, the Construction Arbitrations Working Group; of the International Council for Commercial Arbitration, ICCA; of the Board of Trustees of the Dubai International Arbitration Centre, and Chairman of its Executive Committee; and since September 2004, a member of FIDIC’s Contracts Committee.aw firm in the Middle East, having offices in the Emirates of Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah. The firm also has an office in Baghdad-Iraq, Riyadh- Saudi Arabia and an associate office in Doha, Qatar.
